Checking In – Upon Arrival:
Check-in is 3:00 PM.
• Parking: There is one assigned parking space on the side of the building, marked #1, that can accommodate a standard-sized vehicle. Park at a slight angle (/) and as close to the trash bins as possible while still allowing enough room for residents to access the bins. Oversized SUVs, pickup trucks, and any trailer hitch attachments that extend the length of a vehicle will not fit, and are not allowed, in the unit’s on-site parking space.
• Entry Access Code: You will receive a unique four-digit entry code to the front door on the morning of your arrival date. To use the keyless entry system, first press the blank keypad anywhere and two random numbers will light up. Press the two random numbers in any order and then the full keypad will light up. Enter your unique four-digit entry code and the door will unlock. To lock the door when you leave, press the keypad to light it up and then press the lock icon.

We’ve done our best to make the most efficient use of space. Please try to put items back in the same places you found them, and please let us know if there is anything you think we could add to make your stay more enjoyable next time!
Central Air Conditioning/Heat Pumps:
There are Mitsubishi air conditioning mini-split heads in both the living room and the bedroom. These units are controlled individually by the remotes mounted on the walls of each room (remotes are labeled on the back so they don’t get mixed up). The two units do operate as one system, so the ‘Mode’ must be set the same on both, or they will both default to the last mode set. The temperature control can be set differently so long as both units are set in the same mode. For example, you can run one unit on Cool Mode with the temperature set at 68℉ and one unit on Cool Mode with the temperature set at 71℉ but you cannot run one unit on Cool Mode and one unit on Heat Mode. The Nest Thermostat in the living room is for the building’s gas heating system and should only be used for heating during the winter months.
TVs and Soundbars:
There are Samsung Frame TVs hooked up to Sonos soundbars in both the living room and bedroom.
• There is no cable, all the major streaming apps are available on the TVs.
• The volume on the TVs will always start in silent mode and needs to be turned up when you first start the TVs. TVs will automatically connect to the soundbars for audio output.
• Pressing the power button on the remote once will switch between the TV and ‘Art Mode’; to turn the TV off completely hold the power button for 3 seconds.
• There are Sonos soundbars connected to both TVs and there is a small Sonos speaker on top of the dresser in the hallway you can connect to all via Bluetooth. The soundbars can be used independently of the TVs for music. The soundbars do not turn off with the TVs.
Laundry:
There is a storage drawer in between the stacked washer and dryer that contains laundry pods for your use. It is recommended to leave the closet door open when using the dryer as it uses a heat-pump and requires air circulation.
• Please do not use any liquid bleach, fabric softeners, or dryer sheets.
• Please do not place any excessively sandy items in the washing machine as sand will damage the machine.
• Remove the lint from the dryer after each use. The lint container is inside the dryer and is accessed when the dryer door is open, it pulls straight out from the inside of the dryer.
• There is an iron and ironing board located in the hallway clothes closet.
Cleaning Supplies:
There are cleaning supplies under the sink and extra supplies at the top of the laundry closet. There is a dustpan and broom hanging on a hook inside the laundry closet to the left of the machines. There is a cordless vacuum cleaner in the bottom of the hallway clothes closet and multiple attachments located on the top shelf of the same closet. There are extra paper towels in the living room storage ottoman.
Beach Chairs/Umbrellas/Towels:
There are beach towels located in the bottom drawer of the living room storage cabinet. Beach chairs and umbrellas are in the storage chest on the patio.
Outdoor Lighting:
The outdoor light is set on a timer (which is the far-left switch in the kitchen to the left of the sink) and will come on and off automatically at sunset and sunrise. You do not need to turn the light on and off manually.
Propane Grill:
· Grill utensils are in the bottom kitchen drawer. There is a nylon grill brush for cleaning hooked on the fence by the grill, only use the brush on a cool grill. Clean and cover the grill after each use.
· When operating the grill, there are two burners (an outer circle and an inner circle) – for most cases you will want to utilize both. However, the outer circle can operate independently if you turn the knob past the upright position (12 o’clock).
· IMPORTANT: Turn the propane gas OFF at the tank after each use.
· There is a full propane tank stored under the circular side table on the patio. If the propane runs out during your stay, please replace the empty tank with the full one and store the empty tank back under the table. Kindly let us know so we can refill it after your stay.
Trash & Recycling:
There is a pull-out trash and recycling container inside the cabinet under the kitchen sink and a small step-to-open container in the bathroom. Extra bags are located at the bottom of these containers. The building’s trash and recycling bins are in the parking lot along the fence line. Tie trash bags securely and place bagged trash in any of the available gray trash containers. Recycling is mixed. Place mixed recyclables in one of the blue recycle bins.
Living Room:
• A fire extinguisher is located in the front left corner of the living room under the coat hooks by the front door.
• There are blankets (for indoor use only) in one of the drawers of the storage cabinet in the living room.
• Some card and board games are in the top section of the living room storage cabinet. There are also foldable yoga mats and dumbbells in the upper section of this cabinet. If you use the yoga mats or weights, please use one of the equipment wipes provided before putting them back.
Kitchen:
• The coffee carafe and filter basket should be hand washed only, everything else is dishwasher safe.
• The ice maker drawer will pull out when the freezer door is fully opened and the handle rests in the wall cut-out. Open the drawer slowly and then pull it a little bit to the left to access it fully. Always use the ice scoop provided, do not put any glassware directly in the ice drawer.
• Additional kitchen items including toaster, cutting boards, serving platters and bowls, etc. can be found in the cubby storage drawer on the living room side of the kitchen wall.
• Chefs’ knives and kitchen scissors are located in the bottom section of the silverware push-to-slide drawer. Please store knives in their safety sleeves.
• There is a one-step stepstool located on the floor of the hallway clothes closet. This is helpful for seeing and reaching inside the top of the upper cabinets.
• The microwave opens by pulling out from the bottom right corner.
• The closet in the kitchen is locked and is for homeowner storage only.
Bathroom:
• Turning the small handle on the bottom of the shower bar will switch from the shower head to the hand shower.
• There is a hairdryer located on the top of the built-in shelves behind the shower.
• Please do not place any heavy items on the floating shelves over the toilet.
Bedroom:
• Most luggage will slide under the bed for out of the way storage during your stay.
• There are reading lamps on each nightstand, touch the top once to turn the lamp on and off, press and hold the top to dim and brighten. If the charging light affects you, lift the lamp off the charging pad and place it down off of the charging pad.
• The ceiling fan is controlled by the left paddle switch on the wall, and also the remote control mounted to the wall. The paddle switch will provide power and the remote will control the functioning of the light and the fan speed.
